Sarasota Sunset

As the sun slowly goes down,
To rest beneath the sea,
Amidst vibrant oranges,
Cool blues,
The violet of an aching soul.
A lovers darkness descends
Full of passions’ stars
The Goddess moon
The silent moan of a shooting star
Drowning in the romance
I seek to breath through your lips
To see through your heart.
Hoping to ignite your desire,
My hands entwine your hands
As we walk along the shore
To the music of waves.
The pounding of our hearts
My fingers slowly climb
The soft nape of your neck
To burry themselves in your auburn hair
Where they refuse to release you
For fear you will run away
But my heart knows another tale.
